PHP strtoupper() function

This function is used to convert all string characters to uppercase.

Syntax

strtoupper(string);

The string is the required parameter.

    $str = 'HELLO WORLD!';
    $str_upper = strtoupper($str);
    echo $str_upper;
?>		

Output :

HELLO WORLD!
